Not every pizza shop starts inside a bus. The Bus Pizza did, and that story is still baked into every pie it serves today. Now parked inside Vaughn's Food Hall in downtown Simpsonville, this small, family run pizzeria has built a loyal following on hand stretched dough and two working Italian ovens.
If you love wood fired pizza with a story behind it, The Bus Pizza is worth seeking out.

Where Is The Bus Pizza Located
The Bus Pizza sits inside Vaughn's Food Hall at 109 W Trade Street, Suite C, in downtown Simpsonville. The food hall itself is a lively gathering spot with several food vendors under one roof, along with live music, trivia nights, and both indoor and outdoor seating, so a stop at The Bus Pizza often turns into a longer visit.
A Pizzeria Built Inside a Bus
The pizzeria got its start in 2021, when owner Adrian bolted two Italian ovens into the belly of an old church bus and began selling slices from a small gas station lot. Word spread quickly, and lines started to grow. Eventually, the bus found a permanent home inside Vaughn's Food Hall, where it has served as the kitchen ever since.
The original bus has not retired. It still hits the road for local events, concerts, and festivals around the area, using the same ovens and the same dough that built the brand from the start.
The Menu
Every pizza at The Bus Pizza is hand stretched and served in two sizes, personal or family style, so guests can order just for themselves or share at the table. The Classics lineup includes simple, well made options like a Cheese pizza, a Classic Pepperoni, and a fresh Margherita topped with cherry tomatoes and basil. Heartier choices include the Mushroom Melt with ham and mushroom, the Prosciutto and Ricotta, and the meat forward Butcher's Pick.
For guests who want something bolder, the Specialty menu features pies like the Hawaiian Heat with smoked ham, pineapple, and jalapeno, and the Spicy Italian, loaded with salami, chorizo, jalapeno, and red onion. Guests can also build their own pizza from scratch, starting with a cheese base and adding toppings like sausage, peppers, or extra cheese.
To finish the meal, The Bus Pizza offers two dessert pizzas, an S'mores Pizza with toasted marshmallows and chocolate drizzle, and a Crispo Di Cioccolato topped with crumbled candy over a Nutella base.
